Several of them have physical and emotional issues which would make it difficult for them to survive on their own, outside. Here are our 100 ‘wild herd’ cattle (including 40 buffalo) preparing to go out into the forest to graze. Most have been with us for 10-15 years, rescued from illegal slaughter. From February 27 to March 1, 2023 three of our staff attended a ‘Zoo Keepers Training’ conducted at Bannerghatta Zoo in Karnataka, through the Central Zoo Authority.
