Dear Friends, Thanks to the support of a “Friend of Karuna” from Singapore the construction of the animal enclosures at Karuna’s new wildlife centre has started again after 5 years being delayed.
The framework for the Peacock enclosure was completed but the mesh is of special quality and must be ordered from Bangalore.

The first monkey enclosure is mostly completed except for the night cages. The building of the second monkey enclosure has also started.

On 28.03.2024 Mr. Brij Raj Sharma from New Delhi (who designed our Master Plan) visited the construction site. In a concluding meeting he advised us on improvements on the construction and told us we are on the right track!
