We currently have nearly 20 rescued deer in our Wildlife Sanctuary (3 Sambar deer and 16 Black Bucks). We give them fresh grass to eat every day, and they remain healthy and safe in their large and comfortable compound. Unfortunately, these are all permanent residents, as they would be unable to survive in the wild. The Forest Department regularly brings us rescued wildlife including deer, for care and rehabilitation when possible., because the nearest alternative wildlife rescue center is the Tirupati Zoo, over 300 km away.
