Kind people at the Puttaparthi Fire Station found this paralysed small female puppy and brought her to us. We are very happy to share with you that on Friday, 1 December 2023, we have officially started the second phase construction of the Karuna Wildlife Rescue Centre (animal enclosures) with a small Puja. For the marking and other technical details, one of our board members Mr. J. N. Jagadeesh, civil engineer, is helping us.
A male puppy, about 3-4 months old, was abandoned inside a basket. Our Secretary Narendra and Accountant Raji rescued him and admitted him as an inpatient, and he was treated for distemper. Now he is recovered and thriving! Thanks to YOUR ongoing donations, we are able to continue our important work!

Thank you to Mission Of Mercy, whose donations help with feed for our several horses, rescued from life-threatening situations. For many years, Karuna has rescued large and small animals, including several ill and abused local horses. They become friends with the rescued cattle and donkeys, and wander freely in our compound, safely and well fed.
