A Happy and Compassionate New Year 2023!

January 1, 2023

Dear Friends of Karuna,

Most of us have received and sent our Best Wishes for 2023 to friends and family. This newsletter is also sending best wishes for all our animal friends and supporters – but we would also like to extend our deeply felt wishes for the animals as well! Especially the animals being raised for food and those kept in laboratories. Their suffering is the worst and they need not only our thoughts but also some action. Did you make plans to do better for the animals in this new year?

Your individual compassionate choices mean a lot to them!

2022 was not easy for most of us! At Karuna there was too much rain, flooding and we lost a connecting bridge.

Our long time rescued camel Raja passed away.

For 2023 we have good news: apart from our usual animal rescue and care projects and cleaning and repair, we can now finally continue with the construction of our new Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation centre next to the forest. We hope that you will stand by us as usual and make the world a better place for all animals, including the human ones!

With Loving Thanks and Warm Regards,

All of us at Karuna Society
