Balu, our most senior rescued bear from about 10 years ago, and Giri, a newly rescued bear, get along great and are happy playing together all day. It is another successful Karuna story! (These are both pics of Giri.)
Some of you may remember our sad post on a rescued donkey, who had very deep wounds. We are happy to report that the little guy is doing wonderfully! His wounds are healing well and he will be under our care, safe and sound, for the rest of his precious life.

Life is precious! This three-legged cow would agree with that completely. Her life was saved thanks to surgery, though we had to amputate a badly infected limb. Now she is happy, healthy and walking about!
