Wild Cat Rescued

This wild cat is also a victim of the farmers who place live wires in their fields to keep the animals out. It is paralyzed so we have to wait and see if it recovers. a gentleman from Anantapur brought it to us when he found it.

Outpatient Department A Blessing!

For the local villagers, Karuna’s in- and out-patient department is a blessing. The treatment is free of charge to enable them to bring their sick animals. Karuna’s Kitchen Runs on Biogas!

The kitchen at Karuna runs on biogas. Here you see how the cow dung is mixed with water. It goes into an underground chamber where it produces gas which in turn moves through a pipe to the stove in the kitchen. The slurry leftover is perfect ready compost.
