There is unprecedented Flooding in the the Puttaparthi Area of Andhra Pradesh, where our rescue clinic is located. The flooding and heavy rains are continuing unabated for many weeks in several states of India, leading to many tragic circumstances. We are struggling to maintain staffing as some of our employees are unable to wade through the high flood waters to work. We are taking extra steps to protect and care for not only our hundreds of recued animals including wildlife, but also needy animals trapped on the roads.
