Growing with Compassion: Building a Stronger Team for Animals in NeedπποΈπ§βπ€βπ§
For a very long time, Karuna Society struggled due to a shortage of manpower and skilled staff. Finding people who genuinely love animals and are driven by compassion rather than just a job was extremely challenging. This made our work difficult, especially in critical care areas.
We are happy to share that this situation has significantly improved. Recently, four new staff members joined our team. Out of them, three are well-educated, skilled, and deeply compassionate toward animals. They are currently being trained in OPD services, cattle care, and wildlife care. It has been two weeks since they started, and they are working with dedication, enthusiasm, and care. While they are settling in well, they still require time, guidance, and continuous support to reach their full potential.
With this team, we are confident that OPD services will now deliver much better quality care. For cattle , we have also found suitable support, and the services are functioning smoothly. Wildlife care remains a challenge, as it demands experienced professionals. In the future, we will need at least two more trained and experienced wildlife staff. However, with our current team, we are managing the present workload efficiently.
At the same time, Karuna Society is in urgent need of one permanent veterinary doctor and one permanent assistant, preferably with experience in wildlife treatment. Their support will be crucial in strengthening our services and saving more lives.
With continued support and compassion, we believe we can build a stronger, more reliable system of care for animals in need.π
