Happy New Year 2024, everyone!! On Christmas day, 25 December 2023, our entire Karuna Society family came together to celebrate several things at once, including our survival through the last three very challenging years, and honoring our retired employees P. Narasimha and his wife Gangamma, who were with us helping animals way back in 1998, even before ‘Karuna’ was (officially) born in September 2000!

There were speeches of thanks by Karuna’s President, Clementien and Secretary, Narendra. Narasimha and Gangamma were felicitated and given gifts of appreciation.

A delicious catered lunch was served and enjoyed by all, and many portions were packed up for family members who were unable to attend. (All expenses of the function were provided by a Friend of Karuna.)

The new Cattery for the enjoyment of the cats was also inaugurated – we will post pictures of that soon!

Here’s to a wonderful 2024 ahead, filled with joy, love, health, prosperity and positive adventures, to one and all, including all of our animal family! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
