A few days ago we were called to the rescue of a three month old monkey, sitting unresponsive on the road. We thought he might have been electrocuted but that turned out not to be the case. The Forest Department handed the little one over to Karuna for treatment and care.
We didn’t have much hope but after about a week of treatments and care he started improving. For the last few days, we are heartened to see that he has been hungrily eating bananas, watermelon and beans! However, he is still not reacting much to his outside environment. We hope he will slowly get better and better, and that we can release him back to his own family in Puttaparthi. Please help us to continue giving rescued animals the care they need, with your generous ongoing donations!
