My morning at Karuna’s: we got there at 8.30am and it was feeding time for the old injured dogs. They remind me of old veterans of foreign wars – very old but enjoying life! In the West if we see dogs like this, people would want to put them to sleep. But at Karuna Society, they feed them and give them a place to live in their twilight years.
