Pippo the Monkey with Burns
Our little monkey Pippo is doing well. Some burns on arm and leg needs a bandage but within a few days you will see the improvements and full recovery.
Wildlife Released
Karuna’s wildlife rescue centre is in the process of shifting the monkeys and deer to our new location close to the forest. We used the opportunity to release some healthy monkeys and deer back into their natural habitat. Ten monkeys were released a few days ago in the forest at Kadiri. We keep disabled monkeys
Fruit Bat Rescued and Released
A fruit bat that was in our care, surprised us with the expressions and reactions he shows! Sparkling us much like a dog – made us enjoy every moment with him for the two months that he stayed with us, before he was released to go free again.
Jerry’s Extra Treatments
Our long time paralyzed old inmate, Jerry, suffering from a sudden skin problem. He needs washing, ointment and a lot of extra vitamins to get better.
Rescued Horses: Mother and Daughter
This is a mother with her daughter. We thought this pony would not be able to conceive, but we turned out to be wrong! The foal still drinks for comfort from the mother.
Bobo, Cured from Being Paralysed!
This is Bobo, a large Indian dog that was paralysed after an accident. He recovered but his hind legs move a bit out of control. He is always in a good mood!
Three Legged Cow with Her Calf
This three legged cow, came to us pregnant and gave birth to a beautiful calf. It wont be long now before she is sterilized, as soon as the calf is weaned, and then she will be free from human abuse and will no longer be taken advantage of!
