Here is our Treatment Report for February 2022! We conducted the special Anti-Rabies Vaccination Drive, and 173 dogs in our area were vaccinated. In addition, 144 animals were successfully treated and discharged. Our total number of Resident animals stands at 341!

Here at Karuna we conducted another free anti-rabies vaccination drive in Puttaparthi and other surrounding villages around our clinic from January 31st to February 6th. We currently have 7 donkeys and 7 horses, all rescued from a life of hard labor, abuse, hunger and injuries. Now their open wounds are healed and they live a happy life, pain-free, rolling around playfully and interacting with each other!
Within a few months of March 2020 when covid lockdowns hit the world, we had to close down our Ahimsa Organic product line. However, we continue to grow limited organic crops which benefit our rescued animals – our animals love the fresh, healthy produce grown just a few feet away!
Our staff have been working hard this month, giving over 260 more treatments than last month. Parvo-virus cases shot up, which required immediate action and care.
