We rescue deer from the nearby forests on a regular basis. Sometimes their mother has been killed, sometimes they just wonder too near to villages or are injured. Usually we can treat them and release them in the forest again. Here is one recent patient after treatment and before we brought her to the deer
Meal time for our many rescued buffaloes! They have a happy life thanks to a big pond to bathe in, walks in the fields for fresh grass, and supplemental grains and hay in their compound. Donations are always welcome to help us keep them nourished & happy, thanks so much!
We saw this weak puppy on the road and brought him in for treatment. He felt much better after the drip nourishment and will be good as new before long. Thank you so much for your continued support!

Hot red chilis, anyone? Used in so many preparations, both fresh and dried then crushed into powder, they are grown on Karuna’s Organic farm. Profits go entirely to support the rescued animals.
Karuna Society cares for a number of monkeys who were electrocuted by live wires. We are hopeful that we can soon build them a bigger sanctuary, so they can remain safe, sound and happy with no more fear. Contact us if you are interested in helping with this noble project!
