Twenty-five years ago, Karuna Society for Animals and Nature was born from a simple yet powerful dream to give voiceless beings the love, care, and respect they deserve.
What began as a small spark has now become a warm, glowing light , one that has touched countless lives, both human and animal alike. 🐾💚
Today, as Karuna steps into its 26th year, we pause to reflect on the path behind us and the one ahead.
We celebrated not with grandeur, but with hearts full of gratitude.
🐾 We first served special meals to our beloved animals, who are at the heart of everything we do.
🌿 Then, we shared a warm lunch with our dedicated staff , the hands and hearts that keep this dream alive.
🎂 We cut a cake surrounded by love, laughter, and memories.
We remembered why we began and why we continue.
From just a handful of dreamers, Karuna has grown into a family:
✨ 24 permanent staff members
✨ 20–25 indirect workers
✨ Nearly 50 families supported
✨ And hundreds of rescued, rehabilitated animals who now live in peace and dignity
This is not just an organisation.
This is Karuna compassion in action.
This is a dream that has saved lives, nurtured hope, and inspired kindness.
As we celebrate our Silver Jubilee, our eyes are already set on the future.
Because Karuna’s dream is not just to stop at silver…
