It is desperately needed to educate children on the importance of respecting and caring for animals! In December 2019, Karuna’s Vice President Romula DSilva conducted two (2) Humane Education sessions of two hours each, at the Sri Sai Vidyaniketan English Medium School in Puttaparthi for students of grades 6 & 7. An additional session for Grade 8 was done in early January. Around 100 students attended the sessions for those three grades. During these interactive sessions, the importance of animals in our life, their rights and our duties as well as the protection of the environment were discussed.
