An adult female Blackbuck was rescued after being found in a critical condition, suffering from severe bleeding caused by multiple dog bites. She was in shock when brought to us by the Puttaparthi police and forest department.
Our rescue team at Karuna Society for Animals and Nature immediately admitted her for intensive care. For two weeks, she remained under close observation, receiving dedicated treatment, nutrition, and round-the-clock support.
Her recovery was nothing short of remarkable. With strength regained, it was time to return her to where she truly belongs: the wild.
In coordination with the forest department, she was safely released into a suitable natural habitat, close to water sources and grazing grounds, where other blackbucks thrive. The release was carried out using our newly equipped multi-purpose rescue vehicle, generously supported by Help Animals India, ensuring a safe and stress-free journey. THANK YOU, Help Animals India!
