URGENT APPEAL FOR SUMMER FEEDING OF OUR CATTLE, DONKEYS HORSES AND DEER!!

Dear Friends,

The summer in South India has arrived. It means that for many animals, domestic and wild, there is no grass to be found in the forest. Our wild herd of cattle will have to be fed inside the compound till fresh grass is again available in the monsoon. This is the moment that we at Karuna, need to purchase maize grass from the farmers and stock it up for the whole year. Luckily, we also have our own system in place for growing green grass so that we can provide for all animals the minimum requirement of greens. The amount we have to spend (and which we do not have at present) is Rs. 5 lakh rupees (US$ 5,700). Will you help?
