On Sunday, 14th October, Karuna’s Vice-President Romula DSilva conducted an interactive session with the children of Happy Home – Puttaparthi from 10 am to 12 pm. The 22 children were of different age groups, from 8 to 15 years.

The main topics of discussion was the environment and, of course, the animals – their welfare and rights as well as our duties towards them.

At the end of the session, the documentary “Compassionate Citizen” was screened. ‘The Plastic Cow”, DVD was also handed over to the Director for viewing at a later date.
