The Friendly Dogcatchers of India, in English

The street dogs of India are as tough and wild as any dogs on the planet, and these guys play badminton with them, with rackets that are heavy steel poles with nets on the end. Bangalore-based, they travel all over the place to work to try and control, in a very humanitarian way, the out-of-control epidemic of street dogs in India, a country where someone dies of rabies about once every 30 seconds. Here you see them in action in Sarnath, near Varanasi.
