Karuna Society for Animals and Nature has rescued large animals from illegal transport to the slaughter house since 2000. At present we have 2 cattle shelters with more than 200 animals: cows, bulls, buffalo, horses and donkeys. One shelter has the healthy animals and another one is with old and disabled animals. They live with us in peace for many years. Most of them are castrated and sterilized. They do not give milk. During the summer drought we are growing cattle grass on leased land to feed our animals.
