Recently a change has occurred, and the little rescued bear cub Raama has ceased to be dependent on our hands-on care. She is now more independent and freely interacts with our other rescued bears, happier in the company of her own kind. We are happy because this was the goal all along, but a little sad also, that we have to ‘let go’ and encourage her to spend most of her time with other bears. Besides that, she is so big that her ‘play’ is a little too rough for us now!
